i have suffered from being misunderstood recently, because of few colleagues said something unfair behind me.

i can deal with business or bear hard work, but not people's gossip.
i am pretty bad at social intercourse since i was a little girl, even now i still don't know how to get rid of those.

When i feel bad, i reflect on myself in the past.
"Did i be rude to my friends or someone?"
"Did i say something bad or wrong behind my friends or someone?"
"Did i judge my friends or someone unfairly, and hurt their feelings?"
"Did i......"

Words aren't swords, but they can injure people without bleeding, but severely.
Words aren't stoves, but they can warm people from inside to outside, even in a world of ice and snow, invisible, but real.

People in Taiwan always pray to God for meeting great guys who can help them in a difficult time, and get rid of all bad things which come from bad guys.

i try to be others' "the great guy", and warn myself not to be "a bad guy".

又到了歲末年終，最怕親戚朋友的「詢問」話語，讓我覺得自己好像犯人似的在等著受審。

單身無罪！
只是我不夠積極去參與活動，少了認識同為單身的異性機會，想要覓得能相知、相守、相挺的人生伴侶，根本就是緣木求魚嘛！

偏偏我又深信能相伴一生的人，絕不可能是從「刻意認識」的場合得來，所以心理上就極端排斥任何相親。

在我心中，理想伴侶必是偶遇，然後欣賞彼此言行思想的朋友，慢慢進展到互信互諒足夠到相伴一生的強度，而不是只因為「時間到了，該婚了」這種爛理由。

可惜，這「偶遇」的機會是微乎其微，每天只有公司與住家，頂多再增加個shopping mall，哪來的偶遇可言啊？根本是痴人說夢話！

唉！～
單身日子越久，個人的獨特性也就與日俱增，而且缺乏兩人一起經歷、克服生活難題的經驗與過程，想憑空覓得彼此能懂且相合的伴侶也就越來越難了，因為每個人都太有個性、太有想法、太有領域性了，這個現實狀況我完全瞭解卻無能為力。

到底要怎麼調整自己的想法&行為模式，我一直在努力。
雖然已漸漸傾向無神論的我，仍然祈願冥冥中會有好運降臨！～

56歲的黃意昇生於竹苗交界的深山，自小家境窮困，小學畢業就被送到士官學校，從軍多年後憑學得的本事考進聯電上班，並與同事彭秀琳結為連理。當年股王聯電身價不菲，夫妻都是科技新貴，但每週在外應酬至少4天，甚至還續攤，完全錯過孩子成長與家庭生活，他告訴自己「我不要再這樣下去了！」

「忠實地做自己！」34歲那年，黃意昇跟著佛學團到南非宣揚佛法，2週的行程才到了第8天，就下定決心要移民，在慧禮法師感召下，隻身前往非洲有如人間煉獄、全世界最落後最窮的國家─馬拉威。剛到馬拉威時，才知什麼叫家徒四壁，不僅沒水沒電，鄉下更處處是「瀕死的無助眼神」，他和妻子冒險到各部落，請酋長找出最可憐的孩子讓他們照顧，還一磚一瓦地蓋育幼院，連磚塊都自己燒，辛苦可想而知。

雖然語言不通，但士官長帶部隊的經驗，這時候完全派上用場，他教孩子們獨立、惜福，掉到地上的一顆飯粒，也要撿起來，許多孩子是因愛滋病遭棄，9成更有傳染病，但他不以為意，整天跟他們生活在一起。

5年前，黃意昇在馬拉威布蘭岱成立育幼院，又在外圍成立9個救濟站，受他供養的孤兒超過2700人。明華園當家小生孫翠鳳前往馬拉威，看見黃意昇照顧孤兒的辛苦，抱著他淚流滿面，感慨「真是人間的活菩薩！」

To Serve Stray Animals

This is a story which began in July or August, 2010.
i can't remember the exact time, but i can still remember the reason and the feelings why i did this from the beginning to now.
這個〔為動物奉茶〕的故事，我無法確切記得從何時開始，大約是去年七、八月份的時候。
我始終記得一幕，那是我看到一隻玳瑁貓(mama cat)喝著大樓排水管排出的髒水。
這令我驚訝與難過的畫面，在我腦中揮之不去，於是我開始想著 Yes, i can do something for them.

It's not easy to see stray animals drinking, not to mention having a chance to take a picture for them.
This was a very late night, and i saw she/he was drinking for a long time, so i could take some pictures, but none is clear, pity.

This mama cat is the cat which drank dirty water and made me start to serve water and food for stray animals.

It's very difficult for pregnant animals which live in cities to find clean water and food.

i am very gratified that i have the chances to help her twice.

She is so beautiful, and has a kind character.

Even she got pregnant, but she still allows people to touch her.

This is the second time i saw her got pregnant.

i found that mama cat already gave birth because her flat belly.

i mixed two kind of cats' cookies to feed them.

Sometimes i can find trash in the containers.

i knew that most of cats don't eat vegetables, so i don't feed them that.
There was once that i saw a cat spit out vegetable which he ate in somewhere.

He/She held the fish head in the mouth.

When i serve stray animals water and food, i don't bother them.
i usually keep a long distance from them, because i know that stay animals are easily to be scared of people, except mama cat and the big black dog.
But some passersby are interested in stray cats eating, so they will stand a little too close near them.

Mama cat is an easygoing cat.
Even i took video so close to her, she still kept eating, and didn't get annoyed.
i didn't bother her too long.
i just took some pictures and two videos, and then i left her to enjoy the cookies.

This big black dog enjoys eating fish (秋刀魚) very much.
He will come and wait for fish.
But he doesn't like cats' cookies at all.

This is a very beautiful song sung in Japanese.

This sweet song makes me think about my life experience.
i was not a sweet or thoughtful person before. i kept doing something wrong to hurt family and friends who love me very much.

Long long time ago, i still remember one night, when i did something wrong and hope that others could forgive me, but at the same time, i was angry at someone else, and scold that one for doing something wrong. ~~~~ i notice that there were two roles in me, both am a forgivee who needs to be forgiven, and am a forgiver who can forgive others.
i reflected myself ... if i hope that others could forgive me, and then i should forgive others first. After all, that mistake was not a big one, why i didn't want to forgive he/she?! When i think of this, i feel calm in my mind and heart, and everything goes well.

i want to thank all family, friends, and any one who forgave me, and thank God for His love.

How to Fasten Hanger

Do you have some trouble on airing clothes outside?

i did have some before.

When i aired my clothes outside, i usually found that all of the clothes-hangers got together, and sometimes there were few clothes still wet, or even worse, few hangers were blown on the ground, and those clothes got dirty. Oh, i felt depressed.

But things changed when i got a good idea to fasten my hangers with strings.

Even it's raining cats and dogs, i don't need to worry about my clothes-hangers dropping, because they fasten on the airing pole tightly.

Tools: string and scissors

to cut a piece of string
to tie it firmly round on the airing pole
to leave a small circle upward
to put the clothes-hanger into the circle

That's it!

i usually wash vegetables after buying, and separate them into small parts for each meal in some containers with lids, and put them into the refrigerator. This is a good way to keep vegetables fresh, and also save time before cooking. Only be sure to cook them within one week for best freshness.

Finally, i got the answer about my throat BONEs!!

Because ALL men & women have Adam's Apples, and i am slender so it becomes obviously.

There is one thing bother me a little bit, because i have obvious bones on my throat, and it seems men's characteristics not women's.

My mama & i, myself asked different Taiwanese doctors about my obvious Adam's Apple.

We are curious why i have this obvious male's mark, but most of them didn't tell us that women also have Adam's Apples, they just told us that's not Adam's Apple, and because i am too slim, so the bones of my throat become obvious. i remember there is one doctor who told us that women also have Adam's Apples, but he didn't use a very affirmative tone, so i didn't have deep impression in my mind.

The truth is ~ That bone is also named Adam's Apple on women's throats.

My God!!

How ignorant as doctors they are!!!

My mama and i can know nothing about Adam's Apple, but they shouldn't, because they all had attended dissection classes when they were students and interns.

i am a lucky girl who met and had a great love with a thoughtful, great and mature man.

It's very nice to know that our opinions are quite similar to each other, and very warm to know that we are totally accepted by each other, and can feel the true love in our hearts, though there are six time zones between us two, but our spirits are definitely close to each other.

Toxic Foodstuff Scandal

Taiwan News Encyclopedia: DEHP

DEHP is a low-cost plasticizing chemical that is colorless. It is usually used in making PVC plastics. It is also often used in glow sticks.

DEHP is known to be detrimental to living organisms if consumed, but the health risk to humans or other animals is relatively low. However, the effects are magnified if it is consumed regularly. In expectant mothers, it can cause developmental impairment of the sexual organs of male fetuses. It has also been linked to obesity and diabetes in adult males, as well as reduced sperm count.
Despite the danger, recent tests have shown DEHP in over 100 food and drink products in Taiwan as of May 2011. The chemical was found within those products' "cloudy agent", an emulsifier used in food and drink products. Cloudy agent itself is not detrimental, but some suppliers have substituted one of its major ingredients -- palm oil -- for the much cheaper DEHP.
As a result, all products containing cloudy agent were pulled from shelves pending test results. Only after the products are deemed free of DEHP can they be sold.

DOH providing foreign representative offices with food test results
The Department of Health (DOH) said on Sunday that it is sharing its latest food test results with foreign representative offices in Taiwan.
The department is continuing to conduct tests on food products to determine whether they contain toxic plasticizers. So far, the department says, some 500 different products may be affected.
Already some Taiwanese products containing the toxic chemicals have been shipped to other countries like Mainland China, the United States, Vietnam and the Philippines. Related products have been stopped at ports of entry, with border control officials requesting that companies provide proof that the products have passed inspections.
The Department of Health says it will assist companies in dealing with those requests, and has provided information to foreign representative offices based in Taiwan. It has also shared test results with the International Food Safety Authorities Network (INFOSAN), which is a World Health Organization initiative.

DEHP contamination might hurt Taiwan's business image

Taipei, May 26 (CNA) The latest food safety panic involving the illegal addition of the cancer-causing plasticizer DEHP in food and drinks has transfixed Taiwan, causing grave concern among local food and beverage makers that their image at home and abroad might be undermined by the incident.

Initial investigations show that the tainted ingredients and products were either produced by Yu Sheng Chemical Co., or supplied by intermediaries downstream from the company.

As the scandal is fast-worsening and has so far embroiled nearly 170 up- and mid-stream suppliers and manufacturers, affected businesses, including many famous brands, have been busy recalling or changing the recipes for their products in a bid to maintain their business and retain their reputation.

Five kinds of food must provide safety certification: DOH
Taipei, May 28 (CNA) Five major categories of food and beverages, including sports drinks, must prove that they are free from six commonly used plasticizers from May 31, the nation's top health official said Saturday.

Amid a national scare about food and drink contaminated by the plasticizer DEHP, Department of Health (DOH) Minister Chiu Wen-ta announced that May 31 has been set as "D-day" to end the practice of adding toxic chemicals to cloudy agent.

"If cloudy agent is used in the five major foodstuff categories -- sports drink, juices, tea drinks, fruit jam or syrups, tablets or powders -- they must provide safety certificates to prove that they are free from the six plasticizers. If they fail to do so, the products will be banned from store shelves," Chiu said.

Cloudy agent is a legal food additive commonly used in fruit jelly, yogurt mix powder, juice and other drinks to keep emulsions evenly dispersed and make the products look more appealing to customers.

Gov't orders withdrawal of DEHP-tainted food worldwide

The China Post news staff--Premier Wu Den-yih yesterday called on officials to hold manufacturers of plasticizer-tainted beverages and foodstuffs liable and pull all such products from both domestic and international markets.

The Department of Health (DOH) has lost no time reporting the issue to the World Health Organization (WHO) to alert other countries of the existence of such products.

The harm done to people by plasticizer-tainted beverages and foodstuffs cannot be undone by a simple apology, Wu was quoted as saying.

Only when we get to the root of the issue and hold the manufacturers liable is social justice upheld, he said, calling for a ban on the use of poisonous plasticizer Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, commonly abbreviated as DEHP, in the manufacturing of food additives. Wu however, cautioned officials against incriminating the entire food industry indiscriminately, saying officials should set their crosshairs only on those who have used the plasticizer in their food products and beverages.

Commenting on the sale of such products overseas, Wu said withdrawing such imports from overseas is Taiwan's obligation.

Food scare over plasticizer continues to intensify

Taiwan's food scare involving the use of a toxic plasticizer in food products has intensified. The plasticizer was originally discovered in drinks. But now according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), it's possible that cakes, bread and ice cream could also contain the toxic chemical known as DEHP.

FDA Director-general Kang Chao-chou said on Monday that not all bakeries use plasticizers. But the government has decided to speed up the investigation into the distribution of DEHP.

"[We] will look at the use and the distribution of artificial flavors in the baking industry. We will ask bakeries to take their products off the shelf if they are tainted," said Kang.

It is expected that the latest food scare has caused losses of nearly 100 billion Taiwan dollars (US$3.4 billion) to Taiwan's food, medical and cosmetics industries.

Meanwhile, Taiwan's health authorities have confirmed that another toxic chemical known as DNOP was not found in food products.

i cut each tomato into half, and then put them down the bottom of blender, when i turned on the power, i also shook it, so the tomatoes turned into juice first, and then the blender spun smoothly.

Steps:

To pour hot water on the noodles for about 1 minute
To pour out the water (for washing out the flour outside the noodles)
To boil the noodles
To put the canned tuna fish and the egg into the pot
To scoop up the noodles on a bowl
To stir some seaweed sauce with noodles

婆婆不但犯了刑法，而且忽略遺傳的強大威力。

實例：一對音痴父母強逼子女學樂器，因為他們希望子女能成為音樂家，可以名利雙收，卻不管孩子能力或興趣。
子女對音符完全無法掌握，學得苦不堪言，父母不但無法幫助引導子女，還每天打罵要求一定要達到自己的要求。
有些才華or技能，真的是有基因密碼的。

B：兒童心理－各個成長階段會有的自然反應，父母可以如何協助和教導？
實例：一對父母總是大聲斥責3歲兒子尿床、尿褲子的行為。
事實上，以醫學研究而言，就算小五、小六還尿床、尿褲都不嚴重，因為那關係到肌肉控制和心理因素的探討。
父母絕對不該打罵，那只會加重孩子的恐懼感，讓問題惡化；父母能作的是～瞭解尿床、尿褲的原因，溫和教導、引導孩子，營造安全放心的家庭氣氛。

C：親子教育－孩子有孩子的問題，家長亦有家長的問題，如何溝通增進彼此的瞭解，是親子間重要的課題，而這些問題，有數不清的書籍羅列可能的情境和適宜的解決方案。

D：個人財務狀況－是否能負擔一個家庭？養得起幾個孩子？
實例：今年初，發生在彰化的悲劇，一對父母因負擔不起三位孩子的教養費用而爭吵不休，責怪避孕、購物等等瑣事，直到某天太太再也受不了壓力，選擇毒殺了三位幼兒，再引火自焚，雖然送醫，但高達95%以上的燒傷，最後仍回天乏術，獨留哀傷悔恨的丈夫一人。

打算生育孩子之前，請問問自己有沒有耐心？愛心？同理心？
不希望再聽到有人大罵：「我真後悔生了你！」
你有選擇權，但孩子沒有！

A nervous and dirty cat miaowed loudly in a floor-two balcony which is a storage of a cake shop but the door usually locked. Didn't know how long the cat was stuck in there, but it seemed very hungry. i put some cat cookies to feed it and tried to lure it out, but it only ate cookies not out.

No matter how much i love animals, i understand that people shouldn't unexpected to touch any animals before they trust us. i keep this rule in mind and respect any animals even when i fed them, i didn't touch them any.

i totally knew that cats are very sensitive no matter pet cats or wandering cats. But today was a different situation, i remembered the rule clearly, and quick thought what might happen if i catch it by my hands. After few seconds think, i made a decision to catch it.

So my right hand quick caught it's neck, and my left hand held it's two fore legs. In the beginning, it kept quiet on my hands, but when i walked, it felt very nervous and struggled to out my hands, so it scratched on my left hand, and no doubt, i loosed it. i saw a little blood on the wounds, and they became swollen. So i opened the door, and went to hospital. When i went back there, i didn't hear cat's miaow, i guessed it's out already. It's great!!

i have to admit that i was too rushed to console it enough because i didn't have much time, but in the end, i spent more time and more money to cure my wounds.

p.s. The nurses of NCKU (National Cheng Kung University Hospital Dou-Liou Branch) are very kind and thoughtful to patients even they are so busy. Thank them!!~

i really dislike to take any medicine, if i have choices and then i will choose other more healthy way to cure myself, no matter by eating foods or doing exercise. Because medicine could be poison if people use it in an unsuitable way, or depend it too often.

i knew this, but i went to the emergency station after i got hurt by cat yesterday. Because wounds could be fine or dangerous after scratched by animals.

How to Hide Keys?

i had several chances to help forgetful car owners to hide their keys which left on the locks.

It's easy for me to hide motorcycle keys because there are many places which are easy to cover things on the motorcycles. But it's very difficult to hide the car key.

It's few years ago, i saw a string of keys hung out on a car door, and nobody around there. i didn't know how forgetful the car owner was, but i worried about him/her. Lucky, it's MacDonald's park, so i wrote down the license plate number on a piece of paper with the keys to hand them over to the counter of MacDonald. Hope that the car owner will get his/her car keys back, and never leave keys on car door again.

This is a real story which about serve stray animals.

These is one thing which moved me into tears recently.

i didn't go to the place where i usually serve clean water for stray animals, so of course i couldn't serve clean water for them.

i guessed only empty cup or trash left in there.

But, No.
Oh, my God.

Lovely and Lucky, i was wrong, because there was a cup of clean water on the ground.

A nice stranger noticed and knew what i was doing these days, and he/she also noticed that i didn't put water for some days, and then he/she served one when i didn't do that. i was so surprised to see the cup, and tears were dropped down my face, but warmed my heart very much.

Although most people in Taiwan don't think serving clean water is something, but, actually, it is really important to stray animals. i am so happy that i am not alone, because there is someone who agrees with my ideas and does the same thing with me.

It's not exaggerating, but my eyes filling with tears every time when i think of this kindness from stranger. i am so happy for those stray animals because there are many people do care about them, and are willing to do something for them.

Thank God, and thank kind people in the world.

Two Pieces of Reminders

i usually put some vegetables and food in the landlord's refrigerator which for his restaurant.

My landlord is very nice and kind to me, so i not only try be polite and not to bother him to much, but also want to do something more for him.

One of refrigerator doors which i put things inside gets loose easily when people close it rudely.

i have seen many times the door was open slightly when i went to get my things.

i don't know how long it opened before i saw it, but i am sure that must waste the electricity & money very much.

So i made two pieces of reminders to remind shop clerks to close the door politely this afternoon.

Hope these help things get better.

Serve Drinkable Water to Stray Animals

This short story started from August 2010. There is an old blogpost An Offering Water for Animals on my blog.

First few weeks, i put a cup of drinkable clean water every day in an open area which every stray animals can see it and can drink it. But it's not a good place, because the guard often threw the cup away.

Then, one day, i saw a cat which was drinking dirty water from drain-pipe, i shocked and worried about it's health.
"That's it!!!" Because of the cat, i found the best place for the drinkable cup. It is near the original place where animals always drink. This really gave me a good idea to change the place of the cup.
So from then on, i put a cup of clean water there, and did find the clean water reduced every day. "YES! It works! This is the best place!" i think.

After some days, one afternoon when i was throwing some waste chicken bones, there was an idea popped into my mind. "Why don't i share some of my meal to those stray animals?" So, i started to share my lunch or dinner with them.

i use many waste items which are trash in other people's opinion, but they are very useful things for me.
Actually, i love trash so much. i can always think of many ways to use those waste things again and again, they are not trash in my eyes.

Recently, i found there are three little kittens follow the cat. Oh, my God, she is a mama cat.
i am so happy that i accidentally helped her during her pregnancy and breastfeeding.

And now, her babies grow up to cute and naughty kittens. i am so happy to see them all.

Just like most of human beings' mama, the mama cat stayed quiet left her little kittens played near her, but she didn't want to care about her naughty babies, she just left them alone to play.
~ i noticed that there are some similar situations and moods between mama cat and human parents.

Last week, i bought a package of cat food. i hope that i can help their health a little bit more, and they do enjoy this food. i am so happy to see that!!

A Pig-raiser changed into a vegetarian, because one pig peeked at him silently and curiously before going to the shambles.
The night when that pig gone, this pig-raiser felt very guilty and said, he couldn't sleep at all. He decided to buy the pig back from the shambles, but it's too late when he arrived there.
After this event, he reflected upon his mistakes and health. He discussed with his parents, and then they made a big decision - keep their pigs for pet only, and not selling them. They start eating vegetables and fruits only, and feed vegetables to pigs. All of them are vegetarians, and their health get better and better, even the ill pig recovered without medicine, only by changing the food.

This is a true story which happened in Taiwan. We can become more health by changing the food which we eat everyday. More vegetables, more health. Try it, and our bodies will feel that change.

I have been a vegetarian for about quartic short period of time before. The reason to be a vegetarian was not for religion, not for wish, not for serious issue, only for caring about animals. Every time when I read the articles which describe the way how human beings raise and treat animals inhumanly, very cruel and without any normal feelings of pity, i will cry. Even now i eat meat, i still wish that all animals can be treated humane.

Why did i change my mind and eat meat? Because i have read an article about relationship on a special Blog. The writer King said, 'If you know something about eating, no matter men or women will love you.' and he also said, 'We are what we eat.' His opinions about eating - not to eat luxury meals, not about the price of food, but about the feelings and contents of eating. Every one needs to eat every day, and we get different nutrition to build and improve our health from the food that we eat. King also said that if we choose not to eat some parts of food, and then, the decision not only affects our health, but also influences our thoughts.

Is his opinion about food choosing too exaggerated?

Well, from my observation of people, and experience of life, he is right. Some people who seldom eat vegetables or fruits, or other people who only eat vegetables and fruits, or even more, some eat not only no meat, but also no eggs and milk, and several kinds of vegetables according to religious reasons, all of those people have their predilections for food. They have special strong liking and dislike for food. Their belief of choosing food also reflect on their relationship. Most of those people who persist in food choosing have different preconceptions of other people, and sort of stubborn.

My Goodness! King's opinions are so right! Most of time we can point out other people's errors easily, but we seldom spend time to reflect on ourselves. After reading several pieces of his articles, i decided to change myself from inside to outside, include eating habit. From then on, I eat lots of vegetables and some meat for each meal in different restaurants or snack bars. You know what happened to me? I changed! I become more healthy than usual, and I am open-minded about everything and everyone. I can accept others' ideas and opinions, and take things easy. Amazing, I, myself changed, and the world through my eyes also changed. King is one important helper who affects me in relationship and self improvement so much. Thank him!

I guess a key and a lock have always been Freudian symbols, and pretty obvious ones at that. There was no deep serious expression behind the song, but people read things into it. They made up incredible stories as to what the lyrics said and what the song meant. In some places, it was even banned from the radio.

My idea about songs is that once you write them, you have very little say in their life afterward. It's a lot like having a baby. You conceive a song, deliver it, and then give it as good a start as you can. After that, it's on its own. People will take it any way they want to take it.

The recording process was preceded by about 4-5 months of rehearsals at CBS TV City where I was working for Carol Burnett's production company at the time. This first cd was like giving birth. These are the food and fruits that I prepare for my daily meals. I don’t buy or use any sauces, sugar, oil or salt. Instead, I combine different flavors and textures, like mixing something tasteless with those sweet and sour, to create tasty and healthy dishes and drinks. I pretty much follow the food preparation guideline I once received from a wise teacher that we should enjoy the original flavor and nutrients of food and throw away sauces that add artificial flavors whose only purpose is to ruin our taste buds.

The same guideline for food preparation can be applied to our relationships as well. We all know that only God is perfect; we humans have bad habits and extreme behavior, and we make mistakes. Consequently, to maintain a relationship we ought to see the bright side and try to be understanding.

Some seedings of red beans which I grow on January 4th have already become beautiful plantlets.

The reason why I grow these little beans because I want to use them to remind myself "the Time". As we all know that time flies like an arrow, and the plants know that very well and show me how fast the time goes.

For another reason, they also give me the thoughts of relationship. Any relationship, no matter family, relativeness, friendship, colleagues, or any other connections, if we want to have a good, faith and happy relationship, then we have to sow good in those who we treasure, even passers-by or strangers, we still have to give them our respect as we want others to respect us. We sow, plant, establish good to people, and then we'll get good ones in return.

〔自由時報記者吳為恭／彰化報導〕彰化市平和國小一年級女學生周芷柔，留了一頭長髮，看到彰化基督教醫院發起捐髮送癌友活動，決定捐出30公分長髮，昨天在校落髮時，滿心歡喜地說，等六年級頭髮夠長的時候，還要再捐髮。

平和國小響應彰基醫院「一束髮、一世情」的捐髮送癌友活動，上個月至今，已有12位學生、家長及老師響應，其中，周芷柔只有7歲，年紀最輕，一雙水汪汪的大眼睛，搭配長頭髮，可愛又漂亮。

美髮師剪下她的長髮時，周芷柔開心地說，她曾看到罹患癌症的人，頭髮掉光了，覺得不忍心，才決定要捐髮，希望賦予頭髮新生命，帶給癌友多一點自信。

周芷柔落髮時，旁觀者才發現她的名字與金庸小說「倚天屠龍記」的女主角周芷若相似，給人夢幻的感覺。

她說，等到小六時，頭髮也應該夠長了，還要再捐一次，她會好好寶貝頭髮，讓頭髮製成的假髮，也能光亮動人，因為與其剪掉頭髮，不如讓頭髮做更好的用途。

Tonight, I got an e-mail from a student, L, who was one of my junior hight school student.
He attends a vocational school after graduating.

Student L was a little bit delayed in learning and studying.
But he is as sensitive as any other junior hight students, nothing different, he knows who is laughing at him.

I remembered once he had taken a piece of paper, which was a teacher replied to him, and he asked me some words meanings. Actually, he knew the meanings of those words, but he was angry about that. He asked, 'Teacher, he always called me in a polite way, what's the meaning?' I looked at that little piece of paper, and say nothing. He asked again in another way, 'Why did she wrote those words to me? She didn't write such words to other students. Why did she wrote those to me?'
What he talked about 'those words' were some impolite, disdainful and a little bit rude words. Yes, they were written by a teacher. Student T absolutely understood those words meanings just like I did.

What could I say to him?
How could I explain it to him?

I comforted him, and said, 'Be brave, and don't look down upon yourself. Don't care about what that teacher wrote or other people said. Just be yourself. You are a very good student in my heart. I trust you, and I believe you will be a great student.'
Although he was still angry at that teacher who teased him, he accepted my encouragement finally and went back to study.

After his leaving, I felt so angry and depressed about that imprudent teacher. She really did a very bad thing to student T, and hurt him a lot. I talked about this things with her later, and tried to ask the reason why she wrote that to student T. She answered me that was just a joke, nothing big deal, and she didn't think it will hurt student T. She replied in a frivolous way. I knew she looked down upon student T, but I never thought that she was daring to show it up before students in the school.

I totally understood student T's feelings, because I was not a smart student when I was a teenager. Sometimes, I had to face the jeering of a few evil teachers and classmates. So I absolutely understood what's the feelings of student T.

Luckily, student T knew that I won't laugh at him, so he always came to see me and told me about his thoughts.
Of course, I am glad to hear from him, no matter whether I am his teacher or not.

遺憾不識字老農賣米蓋圖書館
雲林有位老農夫因為識字不多有遺憾，知道社區要蓋圖書館，馬上拿出種稻一年所得12萬幫忙，希望從此以後小朋友都能有書可看，有書可讀。

揭牌、鳴砲，大家開心的很，因為社區圖書館終於落成，這間圖書館能成立，最大功臣是一位70多歲的老農民，因為小時候不愛唸書，識字不多成了他人生最大遺憾，聽到社區要蓋圖書館需要經費，二話不說，拿出12萬支持。

12萬是老農夫一甲地種稻一年，扣掉成本所得，對他而言是一筆不小的數目，不過他說，算太多，就成不了事。

一有空，蔡振明就到圖書館走走，幫忙整理書籍，只要看到有小朋友看書，他就非常高興，希望下一代可以因此增加知識跟文學氣息。(民視新聞鄭孝欽雲林報導)

賣萬斤稻蓋「讀冊館」撼動全村
「用一萬斤稻米換來一間讀冊館，足價值！」雲林七十歲農夫蔡振明，為了替返鄉推動閱讀的吳永修夫婦圓夢，把兩季稻子的收入十二萬元，用來捐設「讀冊館」，「用稻換冊」的美事讓村民感動。
「讀冊館」昨天上午啟用，阿明伯開心地像辦入厝，親手寫的「讀冊館」小牌子，掛在村裡信義國小的廢棄教室上，雖然文字有點歪扭，但村民說「怎麼看、都怎麼好看」。

住在元長鄉五塊村的蔡振明，一輩子與稻為伍，養大四個子女。去年六月認識了從台北回鄉的吳永修夫婦，細問才知道，兩夫婦放棄高薪返鄉，想為村裡孩子打造圖書室，於是率村民參加縣政府辦的、獎金五萬元的社區PK大賽，心想獲得獎金就可實現夢想。

阿明伯打心裡感動，「這種好事，應該大家攏來做才對」。一天，蔡振明帶個信封塞給吳永修，「這是我種了兩季稻米賣來的，共十二萬元，不夠再說，先把讀冊館做起來吧。」生活清苦的阿明伯「賣稻換冊」行動，撼動了全村。

今年稻價低迷，每台斤僅十二元，阿明伯捐的十二萬元，是用一萬多斤稻穀才換來。他默默捐款，家人都不知道，兒媳王妙鈴說，直到看到印有公公的讀冊館海報，才知老人家善舉，全家引以為榮；連小孫子也說「阿公，讚啦！」

吳永修感謝阿明伯圓了他十年的夢，他目前是元長鄉五塊社區發展協會理事長，為照顧失智症母親回鄉，同時懷抱改造家鄉傻勁，全心投入社造，從農業講座、婆婆媽媽舞蹈團到社區綠美化，常自掏腰包。

讀冊館開張，但館內書架的書仍寥寥無幾，自稱沒讀書卻是種田博士的阿明伯說，想再賣萬斤稻換更多書，全場掌聲響不停。

台灣各角落，這樣的故事何其多，之前才有菜場的陳樹菊成為愛心楷模。台灣人熱心分享互助愛鄉，本來就是草根性格的一部分，我們自己人可能習以為常，看在外來客眼裡卻視為珍寶讚嘆不已。最近又有一名大陸女孩自助遊台灣，受到各處陌生民眾的熱心幫助，讓她寫下了台灣「到處是好人」的故事，在大陸網友之間廣為流傳。點點滴滴，都是台灣社會真實性格的寫照。

這些故事特別有幾點令人感慨。第一，包括台灣民眾自己，近年來多以「亂」字描述社會特性，其實忽略了深藏民間的真實可貴的樸實民情。媒體不成比例地放大了公眾人物、特別是政客的譁眾取寵的言論，也因此扭曲了台灣的代表性形象。

第二點，從賣菜陳樹菊到老農阿明伯，這種助人不求回報的價值觀還是存在著，也值得成為社會的教材。近年來金錢遊戲泛濫，有錢人一擲千金尋求虛榮，這樣的情節因過度報導而造成年輕人的心嚮往之。今天多少年輕男孩女孩辛苦打工存錢，其中有人卻只為買名牌炫耀友人之間。企業加發年終獎金、舉辦豪華尾牙宴的畫面，亦淡化了貧富不均的隱憂。

而事實上，一個名牌新款皮包，或米其林星級主廚特餐的價錢，於農民而言，是上萬斤稻穀背後「汗滴禾下土」的辛勞所得。阿明伯傾其所有，慷慨捐獻鄉里，是否能啟發社會的公益之心，共襄盛舉於偏遠鄉間多蓋幾間「讀冊館」？

Hsiao-wei Yang discovered her passion for learning and teaching at the young age of eight in Taiwan.
She started an afterschool club for neighborhood children when she was a child herself, using the front yard as her first classroom and launching point for the rest of her career as an educator.
Upon completing an EFL certification program in Taiwan in 1991, she taught at various afterschool programs. Then, in 2000, Ms. Yang obtained a master’s degree in Education at De Montfort University in England.
In 2006, she completed a training course at Harvard University in Multiple Intelligences.
In 2007, she received a Literacy Recognition Award from the Literacy Assistance Center in New York City.
Ms. Yang’s dedication to her students’ intellectual and personal development is not limited to the classroom.
For the past six years, she has been an ESOL instructional coordinator at The Door.
Her vision for shaping students into community leaders gave life to a studentled initiative called iPOWER! (Immigrant People Organizing and Working for Empowerment and Rights!).
Her students are encouraged to use the power of language to gain knowledge and advocate for their peers through entrepreneurship.

中央社報導，來自台灣、目前在紐約教授美國新移民的英文教師楊筱薇，獲得紐約時報年度最佳英文教師榮耀，也是首位獲得這個獎項的華人。紐約時報「年度非英文母語教師獎」（ESOL Teacher of the Year Award）已進入第四年，這個獎是頒給大紐約地區教授非以英語為母語新移民英文課程的優良教師。

在非營利組織「大門」（The Door）教課六年的楊筱薇表示，能夠獲獎她很高興，也很高興努力能獲肯定。

在台灣念金甌商職時，楊筱薇就對英文感興趣，晚上幾乎都耗在補習班學英文。但自嘲腦袋不好的她，對台灣制式教育感到難以吸收。
她自創了不少獨門秘訣，像是利用繪圖、找出字彙間的關係圖等方式，讓自己能快速記單字，又不會忘記。

這套獨創秘訣成了楊筱薇後來教書的法寶，特別是在她到英國唸書，接觸到「華德福教育」（Waldorf Education）後。所謂華德福教育，是把每個受教者視為獨立個體，並透過對自然的尊重，從藝術角度學習，與楊筱薇的學習態度與教學風格不謀而合。
後來到紐約面對來自不同語系、不同家庭背景、不同年齡的學生，楊筱薇將這套教育概念發揚光大。

楊筱薇說，許多新移民到美國後的第一份工作是在餐館，所以她利用餐館可能會接觸到的食材、器皿等，作為教英文的起步。她也會讓學生提供家鄉獨門食譜，在課堂內親自烹調，並向其他同學介紹料理方法；透過將食譜中的食材翻譯為英文，讓字彙在腦子裡活起來。她說，這些新移民多半是帶著技能到美國，所以她會特別加強某些領域的字彙，像是廚師、電腦、導遊等相關的語彙與知識。
楊筱薇回憶，有一次去學生工作的日本壽司店吃飯，看到已升上廚師的學生用英文指揮其他學徒做壽司，她說：「所有的付出都值得了。」

「父母親給我的彈性教育讓我擁有思考的空間」楊筱薇感謝地說，父親是職業軍人，母親時常身兼父職，照顧她和弟弟的生活，全家隨著父親的調任足跡遍布寶島，從小就讀鳳山國小、后里國中、台北金甌商職。由於父親在家的時間不多，她感謝母親的「60分教育」能讓她適性發展，她說：「當目標是100分，多數人著眼於失去的分數；當你達到目標60分時，下一次就會自己設定70分，然後慢慢進步。」由於對英文感興趣，因此她利用晚上時間前往補習班，時常以繪圖、聯想式、找出字彙間的關聯性等方式，提高自己的學習效率。她說：「英文是第二外語，每個人的起跑點似乎都一樣，感覺上好像比較『公平』些，所以讀起來格外有心得。」

畢業後，楊筱薇前往英國讀書，接觸到「華爾道夫教育」（Waldorf Education），該教育重視每個學習個體的獨立性，並且善用自然和藝術作為學生學習的媒介，從尊重學生的思考邏輯、環環相扣的延伸學習、到情境式教學啟發方式成為楊筱薇的教育風格。

「楊筱薇面對來自不同語系、年紀和背景的學生，楊筱薇憑著對教育的熱情，和學生們打成一片，避免填鴨式強背的學習方式，透過藝術、烹飪等課程，選擇學生拿手專長或興趣作為課程主題，建立起自信心。透過實用課程而學習到的英文單字能夠立刻在生活中使用，她認為「這樣感受較深刻，而且有即時性，才能讓英文走入生活」。

紐時最佳英教師：人生就是課程

（中央社記者魏紜鈴台北25日電）在台僅高職畢業的女教師楊筱薇在美國「教英文」，今年3月贏得「紐約時報」年度最佳英文教師。楊筱薇說，人生就是課程，「我的教學不是生動活潑，因為生動活潑不是教學法。」

金甌商職畢業的楊筱薇現年43歲，今年3月拿下「紐約時報」年度最佳英文教師，成為第1名獲獎的華人。她將自己在台灣求學歷程，歷經英國打工求學過程，到赴美擔任非營利組織的英文教學老師的經過，寫成她人生的第1本書「當自己最棒的英文老師」，她並將在1月返台。

楊筱薇在書中回憶，在台灣補習班上課時，她總是離目標很遠、挫折滿滿，「老師的教法讓你感覺他們好像在演舞台劇，看學生打瞌睡就講個笑話炒氣氛」。對她而言，補習班老師生動活潑不是一種教學法，是老師這個人生動活潑，教材依然枯燥乏味，她怎麼背都裝不進腦子。

大學聯考後，楊筱薇的成績可以進實踐家專（目前的實踐大學），但無法讓她走向理想中的教職路，於是她選擇先到教學補習班擔任櫃檯。在擔任櫃檯期間，她每天與外籍老師語言交換，報名學畫畫、插花、學西班牙文和日文。一有空檔便讓自己有新的學習機會，慢慢從櫃檯成為兒童美語教務，穿梭在台北街頭，成為補習班美語老師。

隨後到英國進修，除了上課還得打工賺錢，每天從早上5時到咖啡廳工作，上完課再到酒吧工作到晚上11時，第二天再從早上5時開始，曾難過到在咖啡店洗廁所時，偷偷落淚。

楊筱薇回憶，她在英國碰到台灣來的學生，一開口就先介紹自己是台大畢業、政大畢業，彷彿畢業學校代表他的人格。「當我講出我金甌商職畢業，好像我要變得很自卑，我的學歷變成我的人格。」

她在書中透露為，說出畢業學校不代表一個人的性格，「難道就不能介紹自己活潑好動喜歡爬山？或是說自己的小原流插花段數？」有人甚至安慰她說，「金甌商職出美女啦！」楊筱薇反問，「為什麼我要被安慰？」

楊筱薇拿下紐約時報最佳女教師獎殊榮，但她強調，「我的教學絕對不是生動活潑，因為生動活潑不是一種教學法。」她認為，人生就是課程，每天給自我的挑戰就是在創造。純真是保留一個人的價值，問問題和取決答案的方向，與一個人保有純真的價值，息息相關。

Got the Acute Bronchitis

This is my second time getting the acute bronchitis.
Fist time was in August, 2009 after the serious August 8 flood, and that was the first time to go into hospital to heal my ill alone. Fortunately, the ER doctor looked at my lung X-ray and advised me to get hospitalization. I still remember that about three days drowsy with serious coughs I lose my voice until the last day leaving hospital. It's a special experience though going into hospital wasn't good, but I've learned a lot and experienced a lot those few days.

When I applied for a three hours leaving taking a shower, I took this picture to record the experience.

This time I thought it's just a normal cold so I went to a private clinic twice, took medicine, and waited to be well. Didn't notice the serious coughs made me felt annoying and uncomfortable until the night of winter solstice I coughed violently and vomited the soup. Finally, I woke up and decided to go to the NCKU hospital to get better diagnosis.

A district hospital is really better than a private clinic in many parts of medical treatment. I took a lung X-ray and few other examination yesterday. After comparing with last year's X-ray, the young and careful doctor said, 'you've got the acute bronchitis again, the same to last year.' I watched the two pieces of X-ray, and found out nothing different. No wonder I feel so terrible this time. Got many packages of medicine and went home. Still try very hard not to let my parents know I am sick. I told them that I had gone to the hospital for 4or5 days after leaving the hospital and getting well last year. This time, may or may not tell my parents that I am sick to avoid their worry.

Still take medicine and be a good patient now.

這是我第二次感染支氣管炎，上次是八八風災過後。其實這兩次的X光照幾乎一模一樣，差別是～上次一感染我人就不舒服到直接假日掛急診，而這次則是先在同一間小診所看了兩次，吃了六天藥，想說症狀就「只剩咳嗽」應該沒多久就會自然好，於是從12/1感冒到昨天才去成大斗六分院看耳鼻喉科。成大斗六分院的李威霆醫師真的很細心，替我檢查許多項目，甚至還讓我看這次與上次X光的差別，基本上，根本沒差別，真的嚇了我一跳，想到上次嚴重到住院，這次自己這麼散漫地沒留意狀況的改變，失去及時治療的時機，導致久咳不癒到現在一咳久一點就吐，真是糟糕透了！
這次的經驗也讓我體會到～為何大家迷信去中大型的醫院看診，那就是～在自付費用差別不大之下，到中大型醫院可以得到較完善的醫療檢查及醫藥品質。
小診所掛號+自付=150 (3天藥)
地區醫院掛+自付=190 (7天藥)
一看就知自己太豬頭，未去地區醫院，而去了兩次小診所看病。

我從小就排斥吃西藥到不行，非不得已，拒吃西藥，理由就是小時候鄰近小診所總開劣質西藥，味道嗆鼻又難吃到爆，我常吃一吃就忍不住吐出來，爸媽以為我故意，總是又打又罵，他們從不去思考～孩子吃藥會吐的背後原因。～而我也因為太小而不懂表達，被罵了許多年。直到那家診所賺飽錢後搬家，我才不必再去他那裡看病。但恐怖西藥經驗早刻印在腦中，揮之不去。
這次的小診所未醫好我的感冒，就讓我浮現童年的記憶，腦中經過幾秒的思考，我決定去成大掛號看病以得到較安心且有療效的藥品。
這次所有藥中最令我疑惑且不能忍受的就是一種名為「富泌舒痰發泡錠」Fluimucil A (Acelylcysteine)，據藥袋上描述其治療用途為：黏液溶解劑、預防顯影劑腎病變。它之所以令我反感，是因為它發泡時的煙很難聞，發泡後的藥水則有著討人厭的清潔劑的味道，我真的也出現藥袋上註明的副作用：噁心嘔吐感，真痛苦。(純粹個人感覺，不代表其他病患也會如此。藥商若覺文字不妥，再告知一下。)
說真的啦，不是每種藥水都會令人作嘔，像治療咳嗽的「複方甘草合劑」Brown Mixture (Cough Mixture) 就溫和得像中藥。我不太排斥中藥，反而喜歡經過中藥材行的店面，草藥的味道總讓我有安定的感覺，溫馨而安寧放心感，從小即如此，不知為何。
其實，每次生病我就會想～健保是要給真正需要醫病的人使用，像感冒這種小事，會鬧到上醫院，實在要好好檢討怎麼一回事才對！
嗯，我一定會好好照顧自己的身體。我最近才有一個常人不會認同的(荒謬)想法，那就是－「我要活得健康，但不要長壽。」反正活著時健康無慮，走得不痛苦且快速，就會是人生最好的結束吧？！目前的想法。
p.s.上面那張照片是去年住院請3小時假回家洗澡時照的。一個人去急診看病，除了錢連健保卡都忘了帶，更別談衣服了。還好住院還可以請假回家一下子，才解決我的煩惱！

There are two interesting videos about Christmas present. One is about a boy, and the other is about a dog. Both of them are very cute and smart. Let's see.

The boy was just three years old in 2009, but smart enough to express his emotions so clear. When he slight closed his beautiful big eyes, and pointed to the other present on the ground, that is so cute!!
His parents are so humorous. I think they really have a very happy family life!!~

By the way, I have a feeling that this cute boy maybe a mixed blood child, maybe with an Asian, maybe his mom is a Taiwanese?! Hope to know whether or not!!

After opening a whole bunch of toys, my son 3 year old came across a present with books....keep in mind that this was kinda like his first "real" Christmas....and again he's was only three years old!....let me repeat. ONLY THREE YEARS OLD...

And that he could just about understand and get the concept of the whole gift getting thing. I guess much to the blame of me, the media, and every commercial out there on TV he was more under the perception that you only get "toys" for Christmas.

To him Books are the fun time we spend reading (no less than three) every night before he goes to bed. Let me make something clear again. HE REALLY DOES LOVE BOOKS! But I'm guessing he was "overwhelmed" after opening way too many gifts (my fault I went overboard that year) and I think he felt "tricked upon" when he opened the books.....plus the fact that we were laughing at his reaction kinda egged him on to say the Poo statement.....

He really is one of the sweetest kids I know and to see this reaction (if you know him yourself) IS cute.

I have deleted a lot of very undeserved negative comments that have been posted....I understand now that without a good understanding of the back history one could make a poor assumption of him....but now i hope you know that he was ONLY THREE YEARS OLD PEOPLE and that he only thought your supposed to get toys for christmas....partly because of how commercialized this holiday has become.....we have since taught him differently..............but just for kicks were gonna wrap books again for him and see what happens...

Soup of Sweet Dumplings and Red Beans

Today is the winter solstice, and I boil a hot sweet soup.
I immersed the red beans for about 23hrs.
For the red beans are not easy boiled out, so I heated the soup until it began to boil, and then turn off the hotplate to wait about ten minutes for much more boiled out. Added the sweet dumplings in the last heating, and got a good taste of red beans. It seems that red beans can never overcook.

There is no sugar, no any flavoring, no any sauce in the soup, just dumplings and beans, but to my taste, delicious!!

幸福貓！
整個就是一個超級幸福可愛的貓咪！
看著牠可愛的睡姿，就可以感受到山東大學教授&學生的善良友好了，連貓咪都放心的地方，必定是個好地方。
說來有點牽強，不過卻是真的發生在我身上。
常年在外租屋的我，選擇租屋地點時，常會發現當地有貓咪出現，看牠們的神情，我就能猜測該地房東是否善良。屢試不爽，貓咪或狗兒放心的地方，都一定是好地點。

至於下圖可愛的貓咪，除了佩服牠平衡感練得不錯之外，也很好奇到底哪幾位教授的課「這麼好睡」？
教授應該哭笑不得吧？

這些年來在工作上發現許多平面設計師們對於印刷流程似懂非懂，也就是說不曉得每次自己設計的稿子是怎樣被生產出來的，有時想要嘗試一些新的印刷方式，卻被告知無法這樣做，應該很多人都碰過這種狀況。

上禮拜五 ADC STUDIO 帶著全公司的設計師參觀了製版廠、印刷廠、刀模廠與裝訂廠的作業流程，有些人還是第一次見到四色網片，更別說看過刀模原來是用一隻隻的小刀片所拼接出來的，所以從前印刷廠業務會告訴你說；小於2mm的圓孔，它的刀膜是無法被做出來的，親眼看見就能了解其原因。

其實每個平面設計師都應該在正式工作前去印刷廠實習個幾天，才能真正了解自己在做的工作，而且當你收到印刷完成品並觸摸到它的時候，之前所有的辛苦都完全不在意了。

在日本的大型廣告公司，創意部的新進人員都會先被送去業務部、攝影部與印刷部實習，這麼一來他們在正式工作時，每個人都具備這些專業知識，之後與各部門配合起來才能溝通無礙，更不會讓自己的錯誤造成別人的困擾。

沒有機會去參觀印刷廠的人，可以看一下這段影片，這是美國伊利諾州的一家印刷廠，Dan Barron 在15歲時就能自己操作機器完成所有印刷流程，來看看他做的FIELD NOTES筆記本，讓人覺得更要珍惜平時看似不起眼的印刷品，原來使用了這麼多道工法與這些職人們的全心投入。

女人在生活裡聰明，靠的是一種頭腦；在愛情裡聰明，靠的卻是另外一種頭腦。顧此失彼的例子很多，兩者兼具的令人折服，胡婷婷就是那種聰明女生，對於愛情，她有自己的信仰。女人哪，先放下你的武裝，聽聽她怎麼說。

胡婷婷是那種很有趣的女生。相隔了兩年之久，上次訪她，正值賴聲川的舞台劇《寶島一村》即將上演。她在裡頭從少女時代到老，飾演一個屈服於現實而選擇放棄愛情的女子，多年後和當年的情人重逢，剎時所有錯過的曾經，在心頭風起雲湧。經過了兩年，這次《寶島一村》即將在內地展開巡迴。我問她，經過兩年的歷練，如今演來有什麼心境上的轉折。

「這次演來感覺又不一樣了，那種重逢後的滄桑…」她沒有太確定的結論，說起話來帶著夢一樣的表情，究竟源自多年來的舞台訓練或本身習慣已經難以分辨，但是和兩年前字字鏗鏘、篤定相比，現在的她多了點溫柔和脆弱。「我這次比較幼稚！」說完她爆出哈哈大笑，這就是胡婷婷的有趣之處，你永遠無法預料她下一秒會作出什麼反應。她看上去像貓一般嬌媚乖順，卻會在你趨近時冷不妨揮舞一下爪子，等你回過神，才發現她好整以暇、若無其事地舔著身上的毛，臉上掛著一抹竊笑，留你搔著頭腦想不透剛剛發生什麼事，她是出於友善還是自衛？在中西合璧的文化下長大的胡婷婷，渾身散發極端特質衝撞出來的火花。那戀愛中的胡婷婷，是什麼樣的女人，像這樣聰明的女生，可以和我們分享什麼愛情信仰？

信仰一「我欣賞那種真的懂得愛人的男人和女人。什麼是愛？最高境界是一種成全，而不是控制或要求，成全即使包括犧牲和不完美，也OK。這世上沒有什麼是完美的。」

原來，那種重逢後的滄桑來自現實生活的心境。在國外15年，最近她打算搬回台灣？「以前我比較自私，想的只有我跟我自己的生活。人活到一個階段，發現包容的東西多了。父母對我來說，變成我的一部份，想跟他們多近一點。讓他們快樂和幸福，現在完全牽扯到我的快樂和幸福了。」之所以會有這種改變，她停了停，說都要感謝每個讓你心碎的人。

「之前一段感情結束，雖然很美好，但也因為美好，結束之後讓人心痛。心痛讓人成長，當你走出來之後會讓你更成熟謙卑，放下自私的一切更懂得去愛。其實每段感情都是美好的，它來到生命裡就是讓你學到東西。我很感激有這機會，當我走出來後，發現整個人都不一樣，看這世界的角度也不一樣了。放下執著的那一面，才會看到更多生命的深度。」

究竟相愛的兩人為什麼終究不能在一起，胡婷婷笑而不答，維持著典型的禮貌距離：「我們走到某個階段終於要去面對一些問題，這些都是緣分。只能說沒有過它，我不會像現在一樣珍惜跟感受，樂在生命中的每一刻。」

胡婷婷說起話來有著哲學家的層次分明。「不要小看心痛的感覺，很多人談戀愛結婚，都不一定有過這種感覺。人都需要經歷一些東西，磨啊磨出很多面向，讓自己走出安全範圍之外。不走出去，就無法面對自己的不安全感、個性上的癥結、誠實度。心碎，是很強大的力量。」

堅持．不折腰的態度

是的，我借用了John Denver的經典老歌歌名，「Leaving on a Jet Plane」，我最近常哼唱這首歌。順帶一提，此曲於1966年發表時，原名為「Oh Babe I Hate To Go（喔，寶貝我不想走）」，好吧，兩者都能代表我的心境。

因為從昨天起，我離開了工作十六年又五個月的《中國時報》。

離開的原因很單純，不是跳槽、不是資遣，不是優離優退，而是「我再也無法說服自己，這是個值得託付的行業」。

說來矛盾，兩年前，我調回報社擔任調查採訪室記者，期間沾了一群優秀同事的光，陸續參與「我的小革命」、「民國九九，台灣久久」、「名人家族故事」、「不景氣不低頭」等系列報導，兩任總編輯給予極大的尊重與空間，一方面，這差事是值得賣命的、這報社是值得賣命的。

另一方面，我越來越難獨善其身、越來越難假裝沒看到，其他版面被「業配新聞」吞噬侵蝕的肥大事實，新聞變成論字計價的商品，價值低落的芭樂公關稿一篇篇送到編輯桌上，「這是業配，一個字都不能刪」。

然後，它們像是外星來的異形，盤據了正常新聞版面，記者努力採訪的稿件被擠壓、被丟棄。記者與主管被賦予業績壓力，不得不厚著面皮向採訪對象討預算、要業配，否則就是「不食人間煙火」、「不配合報社政策」。

一家親愛的報紙同業，甚至採取浮動薪資，廣告拉得多，業績達成率高，才能享受較好的待遇。另一家報紙主管開會時，公然指責不配合的女性同仁說，「大家都在賣屁股，你不要自命清高」。

於是，記者變成廣告業務員，公關公司與廣告主變成新聞撰稿人，政府與大企業的手，直接伸進編輯台指定內容，這是一場狂歡敗德的假面舞會；花錢買報紙的讀者，卻不知道自己買了一份超商DM與政府文宣。

所以我遞了辭呈，辭職理由填寫很翔實：「台灣報紙業配新聞領先國際潮流，自認觀念落伍告老還鄉」，我希望留下紀錄，或可作為一種溫柔的抗議，一種委婉的提醒。

在此同時，我必須聲明：

一、我抗議或提醒的對象，是整體報業環境。有些同業的賣相更凶狠、姿勢更難看；而且我必須說，《中國時報》待我不薄，我也付出自己最精華的青春歲月，如今拍拍屁股，兩不賒欠。我衷心寄望這家六十歲的老報紙，除了錙銖計較下一季的財報，也能一如老闆蔡衍明的社慶宏願，「不僅成為全球數一數二的華人媒體集團，更能成為最有影響力、最受尊敬的媒體集團」。

二、我無意指責或鄙視任何個人，報社裡有許多我尊敬的同儕，他們大多比我認真敬業、大多像我一樣痛苦無奈，然而這時節這景氣，誰沒有老母幼子要養？而且，我也曾是奉命行事的一份子，因此，我沒有權利批評任何人，但我必須一次又一次、反覆地說：業配新聞是欺瞞讀者的，違反專業倫理的，破壞社會信賴的怪物。

三、先講好，我的人品一點都不高尚，我貪財、好色、嗜酒、物質欲望強、騎50cc機車偶爾會超速、曾有刷爆信用卡的紀錄。但至少，我知道，這一行有些不該跨越、不該碰觸的紅線，越過此線，左邊是山岩峭壁，右邊是斷崖狂濤，毫無閃躲會車的僥倖空間。

舉幾個例，當我跑社會新聞時，不只一位朋友找我「開店插乾股」，電玩店、理容院，他們只要我的記者名銜，我一毛錢都不必出，就能坐領乾薪，但是，我回絕了；

還有一位三溫暖大亨，打電話希望當我的「麻吉鬥陣」，我自己開條件，只要我不再寫他的三溫暖有公共安全疑慮、不再寫他因色情按摩被警察抄店，可是，我也拒絕了；

或是澳門賭場業者曾號召一個「記者砲兵團」，邀請社會記者去澳門旅遊，包吃包喝包住包女人，只要寫篇豪華賭場見聞即可，我還是咬著牙拒絕了，一位相熟的同業，三天兩夜帶了一打保險套。

各位，請再讀我的唇：我的人格並不清高，我也不是吃齋念佛，難道我不想點頭如搗蒜說「好好好好好」？我當然想，想得要命；只不過，我更相信，「人生總有非賣品」，並非世間萬物身上，都有一個標價牌。

例如，讀者的信任；例如，專業判斷與良知；例如，自己的人格與報社的信譽；例如，寫或不寫的自由權利。

業配新聞破壞了這一切，奪走了這一切，它以每字一、兩百元的代價，將新聞變成廉售的開架商品、「整合行銷」名目下的一項配件、政府標案的簡報甜蜜點。抗拒業配的主管或記者，反而變成害群之馬，變成昧於現實的唱高調者，變成觀念落伍的侏儸紀恐龍。

所以，我承認自己老了，笨了，落伍了，半年前，我就決定離開新聞圈，從此投入三件事：

一、我將進行一項長期的採訪報導與評論，揭露置入行銷如何影響新聞自由、政府與企業如何藉由預算控制媒體內容，我的部落格也無限期改名為《【圖解】第一次買新聞就上手》，算是我送給自己的畢業禮物，也是送給我曾摯愛的、餵養我十數年的新聞報業的臨別贈禮；

二、我將發動一項連署串連，反對各級政府花費公帑置入行銷。在各種業配新聞中，公部門以納稅人的辛苦錢收買媒體，最是可議，我常說，「政府左手伸進我們的口袋，拿錢賄賂媒體，然後將右手伸進我們的腦袋」，花博、ECFA、國光石化…政府不努力為政策辯護、不努力作民間溝通，現在連文宣廣告都懶得做，直接砸錢買新聞，這是一種最最混蛋加三級的媒體控制。

所以，我的第一步就是反對這種「掏口袋、騙腦袋」的雙重剝削，更何況，現任總統當選後，曾向記協、媒改團體簽署一份「反政治性置入性行銷」的承諾書（點此放大），我們只是喚醒他的記憶而已（按此連署，部落格左列也有連結）。

這項連署的訴求對象，當然包括朝野政黨。民進黨執政時，以置入行銷控制媒體的紀錄也很抱歉；早在七年前，游錫堃擔任行政院長，就打算統一發包買媒體，我當時發表一篇「游院長，為何『置入』錯了」，有興趣的朋友，可以溫故知新。

最後，這裡從一個貼貼小孩照片、聊聊喝酒讀書、發發中年牢騷的部落格，被迫轉型為一個機機歪歪的議題部落格，實非得已，還望黃大寶、黃二寶的粉絲別打我。

我最近重讀五年前，前輩記者林照真在《天下》的深度報導：「誰在收買媒體？」，感觸益發深刻；五年來，台灣媒體的怪狀不但沒變少，而且業配手段越發「狗日新日日新又日新」（我沒筆誤），從業者的痛苦掙扎尤甚於前。

幾年前，我仍任職於中時電子報，當時目睹業配新聞「和平崛起」，廣告主試圖介入新聞產製流程、試圖讓記者與編輯成為企業公關部門的附庸。然而，編輯部至少還肩負守土之責，換句話說，「吵完一架大多還挺得住」；而今，零星戰役早已結束，專業倫理的防線一路潰退，除非你抱定「不幹最大」的決心，否則只能眼看新聞版面逐步被廣告侵蝕、瓜分，更可怖的是，你無法望見未來的底線。

這故事一言難盡，我們就從明天開始。

抱歉，因為正進行一些約訪及資料準備，無法上來回覆。

謝謝大家的支持，反應遠超過預期，但這只是很小的一步，希望終究能影響政府及握有資源者的想法；網友提到在臉書開設連署頁面一事，我很贊成，但因這兩天事忙，歡迎任何網友在臉書發動此一連署，凡事不必在我，越多主動幫忙的力量越好。

行動的力量很重要，過兩天，我會另寫一篇「我們還能做什麼」，在此先謝謝大家的支持參與。

還有很重要的一點，其實我是一個膽小、隨興、散漫的人，媒體裡有許多更厲害、更有勇氣的朋友，他們還在體制內堅持、掙扎並衝撞。我懇請各位支持他們，我只是這些人的「總機／代表號」，只是這股衝勁與憤怒集結匯聚而成的「背後靈」，希望最終能提醒那些偉大的「政治家」，讓那些收買媒體的力量願意鬆手。

小故事大啟示

在「呂氏春秋」裡有一段，講孔子周遊列國，來到陳國與蔡國之間，因兵荒馬亂，旅途困頓，三餐以野菜果腹，大家已七日沒吃下一粒米飯。

有一天，顏回好不容易要到了一些白米，就下鍋煮飯，飯快煮熟時，孔子看到顏回掀起鍋蓋，抓些白飯往嘴裡塞，孔子當時裝作沒看見，也不去責問。

飯煮好後，顏回就去請孔子進食，孔子假裝若有所思地說：「我剛才夢到祖先來找我，我想把乾淨還沒人吃過的米飯，先拿來祭祖先吧！」顏回頓時慌張起來說：「不可以的，這鍋飯我已先吃一口了，不可以祭祖先了。」

孔子問：「為什麼？」顏回漲紅臉，囁囁地說：「剛才在煮飯時，不小心掉了些染灰在鍋裡，一些染灰的白飯，丟了太可惜，只好抓起來自己先吃了，我不是故意把飯吃了。」

孔子聽了，恍然大悟，對自己的觀察錯誤，反而懷疚，抱歉地說：「我平常對顏回已經最信任，但仍然還會懷疑他，可見我們內心是最難確定穩定的，內心的自我判斷，有時還會錯誤，弟子們大家記下這件事，要瞭解一個人，還真是不容易啊！」

所謂知人難，相知相惜更難。逢事必從上下、左右、前後各個角度來認識辨知，我們主觀的瞭解觀察，只能說是片面，只是真相的千分之一，單一角度判斷，是不能達到全方位的觀照的！當你要對一個人下結論的時候，想想這個故事！真的你所看到的才是事實嗎？

還是你只會從一個面、一個點，去觀察一個人呢？

其實我一直記得這三位南韓搜救隊員。
這三位南韓搜救隊來自當地民間救援團體，類似自衛隊，完全自費來到台灣無條件地為台灣所付出的心力。
我一直記得，也一直提醒自己不能以偏蓋全。
任何國家、任何地區都有好人、壞人，絕不該以「某國人」這樣的方式來指摘別人，如此只會顯現自己幼稚。但，情緒一來，就會口不擇言，實在很糟。

成熟理智的人，是能夠冷靜處理人事物。
即使在最糟的情況下，仍然可以對事不對人的理性批評。
我，仍得加強！

八八水災》尋屍無功韓搜救隊淚喊「sorry」 【8/20 19:29】

〔自由時報〕來自南韓的3名救難人員，在八八水災後的第一時間抵台，隨即投入高雄六龜新發村的新開部落搜救行動，並以鼻子聞異味辨認居民大體位置，震驚社會，讓人看到這一份來自南韓的愛心與奉獻。但由於連日來的搜索一無所獲，3人已經決定明日打包回府，隊長白昌柱（BAEK CHANG-JU）流淚表示，他們對於辜負家屬的期待，感到「很抱歉」。

根據媒體報導，3位南韓籍搜救隊員，14日自費來到新開部落，希望能以多次參加國際救災行動的經驗，幫助台灣災民，找到罹難者的遺體，但是7天以來一無所獲，讓他們留下懊悔的眼淚，並決定明日啟程返國。白昌柱表示：「對這次受災生存下來的家屬，很對不起他們。」

南韓民間受過嗅覺訓練的民間搜救隊自費來台，十六日一早挺進到六龜鄉新發村新開部落，由於只能幫忙找罹難者遺體，讓他們感到相當遺憾。

南韓搜救隊伍三名成員昨天首度進入六龜鄉新開部落，其中有位經過專業嗅覺訓練的白姓隊員，聲稱與搜救犬一樣靈敏，他們沿路拿著竹桿插入土中，抽出泥土聞味道辨別有沒有屍體，或聞空氣中瀰漫味道來辨別。

「有味道，是動物屍體！」南韓搜救隊員靠鼻子四處搜索，在土石堆聞到味道指出是動物屍體，經國軍人員徒手開挖，果然挖出牛跟羊遺體。南韓搜救隊員說，如果找到罹難者遺體要開挖，不太可能用徒手方式，須靠大型機具。

南韓搜救隊靠嗅出異味開挖，昨天未尋獲罹難者遺體，但挖出有動物屍骨。他們表示，台灣不允許他們帶搜救犬進來，不然搜尋效率會更快。

這三位南韓搜救隊來自當地民間救援團體，類似自衛隊，完全自費來到台灣，全球各地發生大災難會前往救援，他們將留在台灣協助救災直到廿日離台。
